Upset gamblers argue that the law will only push gambling underground, making it easier for disreputable websites to scam players. Others say the law is poorly written and difficult to enforce, and argue that poker websites should be exempt as a game of skill, not chance.

Bluffing: Live or a Virtual One

There are serious differences between pulling off a good bluff in a real poke room, face to face with your opponents, and bluffing while playing online, where nobody can see your face. As to be expected, players bluff more often online.

There are many differences between a live and a virtual one, and bluffing is one of those reasons. Online all you have to do is click to place your bet, and you can be successful at bluffing your hand.

This virtual environment makes it a lot easier making your moves without worrying about being watched by other players. If you are bluffing however, be aware that others are as well! You need to be cautious that other online players know how easy it is to bluff, so they just might call you out on it much easier than at a real poker table.

A well played bluff however can be worth a lot of chips, but the more you bluff the more likely the other players will call you on it. If you play smartly, and take into account all of these factors, it will pay off for you at the end of the game!
